MARSEILLE, FRANCE (Dec. 16, 2016) The honor guard rides an aircraft elevator down to the hangar bay in preparation of presenting the colors as part of a reception held aboard the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike) during a port call to Marseille, France. Ike, currently deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
