It was raised in California, where it was cultivated hy the hundreds of acres as cut flowers. Buj-ers prefer it to all others. It is entirelj' hardy and of the richest dark blue and very fragrant. Price, 10 cents each. Swanley 'V\'liite. Of all the white vio- lets this is the best, either for pot culture in the house or bedding out. This grand double pink variety is one of the finest novelties of the year. The flower is of the largest size, well doubled, beautiful!)- ruffled along the edges of the petals, and of a deep pink color ; blotched in upper petals ; very dwarf and free. Price, 15 cents each. Victor. This variety is grown by the tens of thousands for the New York market, and finds a ready sale. It is a bright cherry pink, white at the base of the petals.
