The red-necked wallaby or Bennett's wallaby is a medium-sized macropod marsupial, common in the more temperate and fertile parts of eastern Australia including Tasmania. This mob are safe from danger in their wide and spacious enclosure at the East Coast Natureworld. It is Tasmania's natural wildlife and Ecology park at Bicheno on the east coast of Tasmania. In the wild, they often become victims of Road kills. In the summer months, there are more Wallabies and other animals on the country roads. It is the time when the Joey emerges from its mother’s pouch and starts venturing away from its parents. Some take to basking on the warm road surface. Roadkill occurs most often between dusk and dawn when nocturnal animals are on the move
