A Georgian gold-inlaid kinjal with hanger, dated 1929 Solid blade with three different fullers on both sides and ridged point. Grip mounts with floral gold inlays, two obverse ornamental studs and riveted horn grips. Shagreen leather covered wood scabbard with en suite gold-inlaid iron mounts, on the reverse of the locket a (rubbed) Georgian inscription with date "1929". Length cm. With the associated hanger of chamois leather with gold-inlaid iron buckles and clasps. Length ca. 130 cm.
