A new variety from Texas. The berries are much larger than those of any other dewberry. We have found it to be an exceedingly valuable one. The fruit is jet black ; very large ; the flavor superior; ripens a week or ten days ahead of any other variety. For productiveness it out rivals all dewberries, and it is a profitable market sort; canes healthy and stands our dryest summers well.
