Very interesting Nyonya Straits / Peranakan Chinese pierced and chased metal handbag with typical relief decoration featuring birds and flowers. Rare type as most of these examples are known in low grade silver, whereas this one seems to be done in brass or copper and has been painted black. Measures cm (11 cm tall without the handle)
