Dundee, Tayside, Scotland, UK. October 11th 2016. The state of public walkways and roads are a disgrace With the Council Tax increases St Mary’s has to be the worst area for roads and pavements in Dundee. Pensioners and people with mobility scooters sometimes have to go on the road because they’re smoother and safer than the pavements. The Scottish Emergency Ambulance Service have constantly been called out to attending to treat disabled and elderly people suffering horrific injuries due to falling over these pot-holes. There have been many complaints by John Bisset of Radio 'Tay Talk-In' and from the public to the Dundee City Councilors and local MP`s but this matter seems to be shrugged off with excuses like “Dundee City Council has a machine called the "Rapid Rhino" repair system which is brilliant, but if it is in use in another part of the city, other places will get a temporary patch of tar until the machine is available.
