At last the Lord told His peopleto kill a lamb, and to mark with its blood theposts of the doors of all their dvrellings. Theywere to eat this lamb, one for every household, roast with fire, and unleavened bread, with bitterherbs. Lor at midnight the death angel shouldpass through the land, and in every home wherethe blood was not upon the doorposts the first-born should die. There was great mourning through all the land.
