An old Bavarian styled cafe was built in 1839 in the old German pioneer town of Hahndorf in the wine-growing Adelaide Hills, some 25km from the city of Adelaide in South Australia. Hahndorf is Australia's oldest German settlement when Lutheran migrants settled in the town in the 19th-century. It is known for its original German, mainly Bavarian styled architecture and artisanal food. It is a very popular tourist attraction with its variety of arts and crafts shops, eateries, souvenirs and its locally produced wines.
