Château de Camarsac, vine in the Bordeaux region, France
The imposing fortress of the Château de Camarsac, surrounded by its vineyard, is one of the most astonishing sites of the Bordeaux region. Built during the 12th century, the estate has been occupied by the Black Prince, Duquesclin, Lord of Canteloup and the Marquis de Geres. Purchased by Lucien Lurton in 1973 and now under the direction of Thierry Lurton, Château de Camarsac aims to make wines that are smooth yet structured. The combination of family know-how, modern techniques, tradition and passion makes these wines a worthy representative of the excellence of Bordeaux.
