'The House In The Clouds' a disused water tower now a holiday home, Thorpeness, Suffolk, UK.

The House in the clouds is a former water tower in the village of Thorpeness, Suffolk, UK. It was built in 1923 to receive water pumped from Thorpeness windmill and was disguised as a weatherboarded house to improve the water towers appearance in keeping with Thorpeness's mock-Tudor and Jacobean style. In 1977 the water tower was made redundent and the water tank removed to create additional living space. The building currently has five bedrooms and three bathrooms and is 70ft. tall.
