Hoppner Bay. Administered as part of the Argentine province of Tierra Del Fuego, Staten Island has been off limits to tourism since 1923 when it was decreed a Natural reserve for Fur seals. This was the first time a foreign-flagged vessel in history sailed into the protected areas and around the Island.
