59 year-old Apple Computer co-founder Steve Wozniak was the Grand Marshall in the 2010 Rose, White & Blue 4th of July Parade (RWB Parade) in San Jose, CA. Wozniak, born in San Jose, traveled the parade route sitting a top a small Egyptian themed float. According to Parade organizers more than 10,000 people lined the streets as the parade floats snaked through the Shasta/Hanchett neighborhood in San Jose. The RWB Parade began in San Jose in 1896 as the Rose Carnival. Wozniak who still works for Apple Inc. is often called Apple’s “Other Steve” in reference to Steve Jobs who he co-founded Apple Computers with in 1976. Photo shows Wozniak a top his float talking with his wife (red polo shirt) and one member of “Woz’s Posse” the Segway Polo Group that rode the parade route surrounding Wozniak on their Segways.
