Bust portrait of a samurai. A bust portrait of actor Ichikaiwa Danjûrô VII (1791-1859) in the role of Samurai Iga No Jutarô with raised sword. Scene from the play Yama Mata Yama Hana No Yamagatsu, which was performed in EDO in 1823 in the Ichimura Theater. With three poems, including one of the actor himself: "It fills me with great joy when I look at the air and see a kite with the Mimasu weapon." The Mimasu weapon is the family sign of the Ichikawa family.
