They weretwo women patients of about the same age, both wearing full upper arti-ficial dentures and partial lower ones, and both suffering from a similarcharacter of pain, the only difference being that in one patient the painwas located on the left side of the lower jaw, while the other was on theright side of the lower jaw. Physical examination revealed the fact thatthe right cervical lymphatic glands in one of the patients were slightlyenlarged. The history obtained of the cases did not aid in patients claimed that the molar teeth on each side had been ex-tracted years ago.
