Cuddeback, who arrived herewith his wife and eight children from Minisink, N. Y., on July 14, 1794,after a journey of forty-three days. Clark and others state thatThompson came in with his family in 1793 and located on lot 18, on theColonel Lamb farm, near the Cayuga county line, receiving his land ascompensation for his services while employed in establishing the.
