Bronze Penguins outside the City Church “The Steeple” in Dundee city centre has been spotted wearing Bride and Bridesmaids miniature dresses in Dundee. Angela Hunter was born in 1951 in Galashiels, graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 1999 with a (Hons.) in Sculpture she has been able to continue sculpting; working on both commissions and gallery work. Her preferred medium is bronze, making small works in wax and larger pieces in plaster or clay for casting in either bronze or bronze resin. Her penguin series 'Penguin city' and 'Penguin city II' have been an ongoing success and are very popular wherever they are exhibited. A special series of penguins were commissioned by Dundee City Council and comprises of five bronze ones walking along a wall at the City Churches in the city centre.
