London, UK. 1st April 2017. Iraqis protested opposite Downing St against the civilians killed by US and Iraqi forces in the assault on Mosul. The say that hundreds have been killed by US air strikes after being told to stay in Mosul. Some people were prevented from leaving and then bombed. The protest was organised by a group of Iraqi women, one of whom told me a nine-year old relative in Mosul had died earlier today. The women held up photographs showing some results of the US bombing.
