None the less, the heaviest hay yield wasobtained from an indigenous plot. These results are, of course, only to be regarded as tentative,but they have been referred to as showing the gTeat differencethat undoubtedly exists as between different lots of the samegrass, and also in order to emphasise the fact that there is anundoubted potential usefulness in the selected seed of ourindigenous herbage plants.
