Prince William V Batavus of Orange (1748 - 1806), a lidded goblet with the coat of arms for the Netherlands Stadtholder Silesian work around 1780/90. Colourless cut glass, both clear and matt, the bell-shaped cup is excessively decorated. The front displays the Prince's crowned coat of arms within the ribbon of the Most Noble Order of the Garter, surrounded by fine vine work with mytholocical creatures and allegorical figures.
