ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 18, 2016) Seaman Nathan Godeaux, right, and Petty Officer 2nd Class Caleb Metz, assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Nitze (DDG 94), participate in a crash and salvage drill. Godeaux and Metz serve aboard Nitze as boatswain's mates and are responsible for ship preservation, maintenance and deck evolutions. Nitze, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
