Brick Lane Jamme Mosque, Tower Hamlets, East End, London - there are large numbers of Islamic immigrants in the East End of London and several mosques have been built in the area. Reflecting local demography, this building was originally a Huguenot chapel and school, but then was used by the London Society to convert Jews to Christianity, then it became a Methodist Chapel, a Jewish Synagogue and finally is now a Mosque.
