View from the air of the recent rockfall on sandstone East Cliff at the seaside resort of West Bay on the Dorset Jurassic Coast on an evening of hot summer sunshine. The rockfall which happened during the evening of the 8th August 2023 has blocked the beach and the South West Coast Path has been closed on the cliff top due to the high risk of further landslides, with a diversion which has been put in place to avoid it.
