S. .sorbifolia. Sorb-leaved Spir-Ea. A vigorous species with leaves like- those of the 3Iountain Ash, and long, elegani; spikes of white flowers in July. One of the best. S. Japouica. A very handsome new species from Japan. Habit dwarf but vigorous, foliage narrow, flowers rose-colored, appearing in great pro- fusion during mid-summer and autumn.
