A monitor lizard lies across the boardwalk entrance to Sungei Buloh Nature reserve, Singapore.
Monitor lizrads are commonly spotted in the Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve in the north of Singaore. The one in this image was sat across the boardwalk entrance to the Reserve and had to be walk around (or stepped over) by visitors to the Reserve. The Reserve borders the strait of Johor, the stretch of water that separates Singapore from Malaysia.
