If hardened off, they are seldom injured by planting out, as early as the ground can be properly prepared, 2J feet apart each way. Keep them well hoed, and bring the earth gradually up to their stems, watering freely in dry weather, and especially when they begin to head. The Cauliflower succeeds best when planted in frames at the close of winter, and brought to maturity before the summer heat sets in. The late varieties mature in the autumn, and are sown and managed similarly to winter Cabbage. Dreer's Earliest Snow-storm. Tiie earliest and best of all for forcing. It is dwarf, with short outer leaves, and can be planted 2 feet apart each way ; always sure to make large fine heads earlier than any other, and is the market gardener's favorite.
