An impressive view of Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, which is located in the Belem district of Lisbon. It was established by UNESCO in 1983 as a World Heritage Site. The construction began in 1502 and took nearly 40 years to complete. Main features are the facades, the church and the Cloisters, The Southern facade's main attraction is the entranceway which was executed by Joao de Manuel I who ordered the construction of the Monastery, and its endowment to the Ordem dos Frades de S. Jeronimo (Order of the Friars of Saint-Jerome).
