Before thereal cold weather comes, most of us fly off to thefar South (a few of us, very few, however,brave the cold weather here). Sometimes, asmany as a thousand of us flock together for thejourney. We have fine times when we get there,but somehow we do not sing just as we didin tlie North. Perhaps we have a secret long-ing for home. When spring comes, we arealways glad to return to our old homes. Thefarmers are glad to see us, too, I can tell you.*.
