Queen Charlotte—Bright orange scarlet, deeply edged bright canary yellow. The flowers are very large, with broad, well rounded petals, borne in im- mense heads, well above the foliage. The leaves are large, musa-like, deep green. feet. Robert Christie—Bright orange scarlet. A particularly strong growing variety, throwing up tremendous heads of bloom. Placed by the side of other var- ieties of like description, it dis- play^ its superiority, both in freedom of bloom and size of flowers. About 5 feet. Pres. Cleveland—Brilliant orange scarlet, a perfect mass of bloom from early in the summer until cut down by frost. Individual flower broad and nicely formed, made up into immense heads of bloom, held well above the foliage. 3H feet. AUSTRIA. Austria—Golden yellow, with faint scarlet markings on one petal; blooms very freely on straight, tall flower stalks.
