Willow Bark and Related Products
Willow bark, aspirin, and facial scrub are related by Salicin. Willow bark contains salicin which is used to make salicylic acid which can be found in both aspirin and some facial scrubs. Salicylic acid ease aches and pains and reduce fevers and can also be used to treat acne, psoriasis, calluses, corns, keratosis pilaris, and warts.
