A special parcel delivery express service, or what is known in express circles as expedited parcel service, has, it is said, been discussed at the offices of various express companies, but for numerous reasons never got beyond that point. The main reason advanced is that there is not sufficient demand for it, and there is a tendency to wait and see how the recent extension of special delivery to the parcel post serv- ice of the post office works out. As an employe of one company said, when the expedited service was suggested : "We have never had much demand for this class of business, though it might conceivably grow to large di- mensions.
