TUBEROSES. One of the most delightfully fragrant and beautiful of the summer- flowering bulbs. By skillful management a succession of flowers may be obtained all the year round. For early flowers they can be started in February or March in the greenhouse or hotbed; and for a succession they can be planted at intervals as late as July. For flowering in the open border plant about the middle of May, or as soon as the ground be- comes warm. • Excelsior Double Pearl. (See cut.)
