Ordained by Con-gregational Ecclesiastical Council, at Coventry, Conn., in June,1856. Pastor of Congregational church in Goshen, Conn., fromDec, 1858, to May, 1860. In July, 1860, declined the principal-ship of the Buffalo, N. Y., Female Seminary
