Gallup, Democrat, of Clarksburg, was born in Dalton, Jan 29, 1824, andwas educated in Berkshire county towns and in Little Falls, N. Y. He is a farmer, andhas held town offices. Committee on agriculture, 1892. Gilbert L. Jewett, Republican, of North Adams, is a shoe cutter. He was bornin Deerfleld, Dec. 22, 1839, and was educated in the common schools. He enlisted Feb.
