Milton's Mulberry Tree in the Fellows' Garden, Christ' College Cambridge King James I. is said to have introduced the culture of the mulberry tree, and it is probable that the one in this garden is the last survivor of a number bought in 1609. Milton was admitted to this College in 1625 Painted by William Matthison, 1853-1926 in 1907
