PHILIPPINE SEA (Nov. 18, 2016) Sailors secure cargo pendants to ordnance containers on the flight deck of the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), during an ammunition offload with USNS Charles Drew (T-AKE 10). Cargo pendants are used to secure ordnance to the aircraft during transport. Ronald Reagan, the Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 5 flagship, is on patrol supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
