There were seven children of the marriage, of whom fivesurvive ; see Sturdy, Harry Carlile, Arthur, Edwin, Florence,and Sturdy. Florence Carlile, elder daughter of Florence(Carlile) and Harry Charles Sturdy, was born on 29 September,18S0, and was educated at Reiyate Hio-h School and Westfield o o College, London University. She now resides at Wath Rectory,Ripon. Sturdy, Harry Carlile, the eldest son of Florence (Carlile)and Harry Charles Sturdy, was born on 22 December, 1876, andwas educated at Monkton Coombe School, near Bath. He sub-sequently became a student at Guys Hospital, and later wasHouse Surgeon there, and then House Physician at the EastLondon Childrens Hospital, and at the Victoria Park 1903 he went on a voyage to Australia as surgeon in one ofthe boats of the Orient Steam Navigation Co., and returned toEngland. He now practises as a physician and surgeon at BIOGRAPHICAL NOTICES. 3 Wandsworth Common, Surrey. His qualifications are ,1899; , 1899; , Bac. Surg-., 1900; , DurhamUniv., 1903.
