The Sea Lamprey, or Lamprey Eel, the North Athintic, asceiidin;^streams to spawn. The species ranges southward on cnir coast to Viri^inia. hi theDelaware, Susquehanna, and tlieir tributaries, this is a common fish. Its larvalform, which is blind and toothless, is \- abuntlant in muddy sandflats nearthe mouths of small streams and is a very imjjortant bait for hook and line fishing.
