PACIFIC OCEAN (May 12, 2016) – Gunner’s Mate 1st Class Richard Varsho instructs Sailors the proper way to shoot a M240B machine gun aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Decatur (DDG 73). Decatur, along with destroyers USS Momsen (DDG 92) and USS Spruance (DDG 111), with embarked “Devil Fish” and “Warbirds” detachments of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 49, are deployed as part of a 3rd Fleet Pacific Surface Action Group (PAC SAG) under Destroyer Squadron (CDS) 31.
