The object of the installation is to obtain a verylarge hcrse-povver in a small space, and to secure the economy re-sultant from the use of a high degree of superheat with Westinghousesteam turbines. The boilers are to be used in the Elyria station ofthe Cleveland, Elyria & Western Railway, of which system theCleveland & Southern is a part. The steam turbine outfit to be in-stalled in this station was described in the Street RailwayJournal of March 22. Contracts for the boilers have been placed with the Heine Boiler.
