Army Capt. James Hogan, 182nd Medical Company, and Capt. Jeffrey Sparda with the Medical Detachment, both within the Massachusetts National Guard, teamed up in Kenya, Feb. 10–23, 2023. Together, they traveled from Boston to Nairobi, joining approximately 1,000 other participants from nearly 20 partner nations in Africa Command’s largest East African exercise, Justified Accord 2023 led by Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF).
