Inder the skilled man-agement of Mr. Kittle the earth is made to yieldbountiful harvests, and thrift is apparent in everydetail of the farm work. The place is the propertyof Alexander B. Kittle, father of our subject, whoresides with him. The various cereals are raisedhere, while a large barn, one of the best in theneighborhood, is used to store the products of theestate. The family residence is a two-story framestructure, with neat porticoes, and a large lawn.
