Flesh, white, fine grained, buttery, melting ; flavor, pleasant, perfumed, not very sweet. Season, November and December Quality, table or cooking, gooa. Value, home market, 1st class ; foreign market, very good. Adaptation, succeeds admirably south of Toronto. [52].
