Metal artwork on side of apartment building on the corner of Stralsunder and Wolgaster Strasse refers to seaside resort of Stralsund – Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin, Germany Stralsunder Strasse named after Stralsund, Hanseatic city in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 1863 From 1911, newly laid streets near the Gesundbrunnen train station were given street names that refer to seaside resorts in Schleswig-Holstein or other parts of the Baltic Sea, probably because the trains in the direction of the Baltic Sea departed from the nearby Szczecin train station (later Nordbahnhof).
