The monorailis installed on supports consisting chiefly of wooden trestlesbuilt partly on level ground and in some places along theside of a cliff. The track includes several 90 deg. curvesof 20 ft. radius and passes over the roof of an interveningbuilding and thence over the river at an elevation of aboutSO ft. on a specially constructed steel bridge. A telphertrain consisting of the power driven telpher and two trailershaving a total capacity of about 4 tons is used.
