There are two areas of Mahuli - Sangam Mahuli and Khetra Mahuli. Two rivers Joining at this Location named Krishna & Venna This village earlier was part of 'Aundh Princely State'. There are 3 well known temples around the convergence of the rivers viz: Vishveshwar, Sangameshwar & Rameshwar. The other side of the river Krishna is called Khetra Mahuli. The famous personality Shri Ramshastri Prabhune who was Chief Justice during Peshvas hailed from this place. This place is also famous for film shootings. Hit films such as Gangajal, Gadvache lagna, Dabang, Dabang2 etc & etc are shooted here.
