Further,it must be noticed that there is no clear break between the plain ware of theearly strata (Ai) and the coarse, monochrome ware of the later {r3). Alsoit seems that after the end of the First Period no later painted ware was evercommon here, for few sherds of painted wares of the Second Period werefound.
