Lilies arjB plentiful in both Easter and calla varieties. Candytuft is new in the market. Pansies and delphiniums are becoming more conspicuous. Gladioli are also new in this market. Sweet peas, baby roses, pansies and calendulas are the small flowers being oflFered for corsage work. Plants are in fair favor. Hydrangeas, rose bushes and calceolarias are par- ticularly attractive at this time. Other offerings include ferns, begonias and potted pansies. Some bedding stock is being put on the market, but, owing to the cold weather, it has been in little demand. Various Notes. Paul Weiss, of Chicago, Lawrence Lohman, of Richmond, Ind., and Mr. Asher, of Austin, Minn., were visitors last week and called on various mem- bers of the trade. Robert Fohl has some excellent pansy plants. I Julius Dilloflf, of Wertheimer Bros., New York, and Charles Wilcox called on the trade last week. Baur & Steinkamp have red, light pink and variegated sports of Rosalia carnation. In spite of the continued cold weather, this firm has begun its planting out. The next meeting of the Indiana State Florists' Association will be held Tues- day evening, May 4, at the Florists* Supply House, 105 East Ohio street. E. E.
