Bagley woods is a rare stretch of ancient, primeval woodland located between Abingdon and Oxford. It is also home to many toads and other amphibians. Unfortunately, these guys tend to go bonkers during the mating season and attempt to cross the nearby Old Oxford Road on one side or the A34 on the other. The results are generally not this road sign attempts to warn motorists in advance. Moreover, villagers in the area take extraordinary lengths to save the (potentially) squishy critters, patrolling the area and transporting them across roads in buckets. Bless.
