A flintlock pistol, Juan Andrès Gabiola, Eibar, circa 1800. Octagonal barrel merging to round after chiselled and gilded balusters, with cannon muzzle and gold-bushed vent. Smooth bore in 16 mm calibre. There is a gold-inlaid ornamentation and the filled mark "Bustindui" (Stöckel No. 124) on the breech. Chiselled flintlock with the gold-filled mark "A. Gabiola". Carved walnut stock with beautifully chiselled iron furniture. The trigger guard bears another golden signature. Original wooden ramrod with iron tip. Length 39 cm.
